The St. Joseph Museums Inc. welcomes researchers.
A Staff person will be assigned to each researcher according to which area of the Museum collections is to be studied.
Hours are 9:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to the schedule of the Staff person who will be assisting the researcher.
Please observe the following rules:
- Researchers must fill out an "Application for Access to Collections and Library Materials" before beginning their research.
- Only the Researcher is to be in the research area. Family members or friends may tour the Museum while waiting.
- Only pencils may be used in the research area - no pens.
- Some extremely fragile materials may not be available for research.
- Photocopying is available for 10 cents per
page for items that may be photocopied.
If quantities are requested, there is an additional
fee of $25.00 per hour.
- Researchers are asked to leave briefcases and totebags in the cloak room.
- No knives or scissors may be in the research area.
- If the library is being used as the research area, books are to be removed and replaced on the shelves only by a Staff person.
- The Researcher must check out with the supervising Staff person before leaving the research area.
