About the event
These robotics workshops will be led by high school science instructor Rich Piper. The morning session includes hands-on demonstrations of robotics, early childhood coding activities, and making WiggleBots for students in Kindergarten through 3rd grades. The afternoon session will include participating in hands-on simple and intermediate robotics activities, games related to coding, and creating a make-it & take-it robot, as well as building WiggleBots for students in 4th through 6th grades. Morning session is from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and is geared toward K-3 grades. Afternoon session is from 1:30 to 4:00 pm and is geared toward 4-6 grades.The sessions are limited to 25 students. The cost of the workshop is $25 per student and paid reservations are required.
